  • Attract passersby to the stand
REPORT:

“Our demonstrations were used to draw large crowds. The Commercial Vehicle Show is the biggest and most prestigious of it’s kind in the UK so each manufacturer had gone all out on their stand. We had to be on the top of our game to make sure our displays were more exciting to watch, and therefore drew more attention to the stand, than the multitude of other exciting things that were going on simultaneously. A wonderful weekend of riding”

TV documentary

S4C Wales

S4C ‘Urban Wales’

Shoot a documentary contrasting urban and rural Wales through the medium of bike trials. To be screened on S4C as an intro to our live TV bike trials demonstrations.

  • Capture enough footage in a single day for the whole documentary.
  • Half day in the mountains and half in the city.
REPORT:

“The film crew had never witnessed bike trials before so I had to lead the direction of the shoot and suggest what was and wasn’t possible and what might and might not look good. The real difficulty in this shoot was that we only had one day to capture enough footage, and it RAINED ALL DAY! The final film turned out well and everyone was happy with it so it was worth all the wind and rain”

“An amazing experience. The BBC reported: ‘The weather is more Morocco than Mount Florida, with hardly a cloud in the sky above the national stadium on the south side of the city. The temperature pitch-side is an eye-watering 40 degrees!’ We were told to ride for ten minutes, flat out, and cram as many tricks in that time as possible. After ten minutes at full-bore I was ready to collapse. However we were told it was going great and they wanted us to perform longer!”
